Type: Chicken Parmigiana

well... not bad at all! especially for pub food in Newtown (which, since i've lived around the area has gotten progressively smaller and more expensive)

Schnitz and Tits

Marrickville RSL, Marrickvile - Sydney
Price: $11.00 ($9.90 for members)
Type: Chicken
With: gravy, chips and salad

Yes, well the plan was, eat the schnitzel, bask in the glorious neon... then watch the free titty show. Gold.
The schnitzel, for the price, was crap (although others seemed to enjoy it more). But the chips were amazing (but i am easily pleased). Really... you dont really expect quality from RSL food, but this wasn't too bad.

Hangover cure

Royal Exchange Hotel, Marrickville - Sydney
Date: July 15th, 2007
Price: $16.90
Type: Chicken Parmagiana
With: eggplant (under the cheese), neopolitana sauce, cheese, chips and salad.

I couldn't think of a better meal after a hefty night on the beverages. Quite a small bit of chicken, but very tasty indeed. Thumbs up from me!

Also, the rest of the meals at this joint are pretty fab too.

Schnitzel in Hand

Friend in Hand Pub, Glebe - Sydney
Date: July 12th, 2007

Price: $16.50
Type: Chicken
With: Mushroom sauce, mash, peas, carrots

Reviewer: Chanboy

$16.50 for a pub Schnitty places this one in the high end of the market, but admittedly it was pretty damn good. Two good size chicken pieces, mash, peas and carrots. Vegies were typical boiled till they die - but all good once mashed together and consumed with generous amounts of mushroom sauce. Definitely a pleasant experience!

Adelaide Schnitzel

Arkaba Hotel, Adelaide
South Australia
Submitted by Dan

Number 1 is a chicken parmy, which I ate, it was proper chicken, and a good size, for chicken.

Number 2 is a beef parmy, i didnt eat it.
These are from the Arkaba Hotel, which I wouldn't normally go to, except they were showing the soccer on the big screen (its a terrible, terrible pub. Mostly gambling and 40+ year olds lookin for a good time.)
Anyway, sorry about the photos, they were taken with a camera (as opposed to a small carrot), i remembered at the last minute.

Price: $13
With: either salad or vegies, 7 chips and a mini breadroll.
