Criterion Hotel, Pitt St, Sydney Date: September 14th 2007 Type: Chicken Parmigiana Price: $13.oo-ish (i'll have to double check that) With: chips and a sprinkle of green
Not bad for the price and Dave didn't die after eating it. He should actually be writing this.
The thing I actually liked more was the two-for-one cocktails downstairs from 5-7pm..... not crappy cocktails either! But i must say, the bouncer ther was a complete knobhead (although, i reckon you'd be pretty hard pressed to find a bouncer who isn't one)
The Rag & Famish Hotel, North Sydney Date: August 28th, 2007 Price: $14.00 Type: Veal With: Gravy, Chips, Salad
This Schnitty was consumed by my friend on this occasion, rarely do I myself go for a veal schnitty, however I am led to believe that this was quite a good schnitty. The Chips were reported to be a bit "funny" tasting - possibly used old oil to fry them - unsure, but not that great flavour. Gravy was gravy, and well salad was freshish.
