Been a bit slack recently haven't we?
Well never fear! We have finally worked out how to get photos off mobile phones onto the computer.
The only problem with the length of time it has taken is that the schnitzel details are long forgotten.
Anyway, here's a few schnitzels to keep you going:
Souths Leagues Club, Merewether
(Newcastle)
Type: Chicken Parmigiana
With: chips and salad
Price: $15.00
Pleasant schnitzel, beautiful plateware, curly carrot.... only one issue with the food at Souths. The menu is a mixture of chinese dishes and standard aussie pub food. This isn't the problem, the problem is that anything that is deep fried will always taste like prawn crackers.
Luckily, i like prawn crackers.
World Cup Schnitzel - somewhere in Germany (submitted by Jamie)
Fairly massive looking, but no money for size comparison. *gasp*
With: crinkley chips and pepper sauce (?) and beer.
I can not, for the life of me, remember where this one was taken. If i remember, I'll let you know.
Escalope - it's french for schnitzel
THIS is really the closest thing you'll come to schnitzel in England (I guess it stems back to the war)
Turkey Escalopes - 3 for only 2 pounds! Bargain!
